Brands, Inc., It Specializes in Mexican-style food and quick service. The company has launched their latest advertising project, one of the most popular is the Drive Through Diet.

A spokesperson simply identified as Christine, who is a real life dieter, claims she has lost 54 pounds over two years, “by choosing Fresco items from the Drive-Thru Diet® menu and making other sensible choices.”

“Other sensible choices,” is the chosen claim here, as Christine actually reduced her calorie intake by 500 calories to eat just 1,250 calories per day.

Although Taco Bell, do not claim this campaign as a be all end all, stating “these results aren’t typical,” and “as you know,”  “the Drive-Thru Diet® menu is not a weight-loss program.” A statement released by Taco Bell says,“For a healthier lifestyle, pay attention to total calorie and fat intake and regular exercise. Fresco can help with calorie reductions of 20 to 100 per item compared to corresponding products on our regular menu. Not a low calorie food.”

With any reduced calorie intake there can be weight loss, although using fast food or junk food to do so, may bring weight reduction, but it will not provide you with essential vitamins and minerals, that the body needs.

With any diet, healthy options and exercise should be considered.
