Michelle Duggar Has Baby 19. “18 Kids and Counting” mom Michelle Duggar gave birth to a baby girl Thursday night via emergency C-section, although she wasn’t due to give birth until spring, reportedly on March 18.
Josie Brooklyn Duggar weighed in at 1 lb, 6 ounces according to TMZ. Michelle was airlifted to the hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas last weekend suffering from gallstones.
From TMZ:
We’re told Michelle is resting comfortably and the baby is “stable” — although she’s in the neonatal intensive-care unit at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
The rep added, “The most important thing right now is for Mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”
TLC posted a video from Michelle and husband Jim Bob a few days ago, thanking everyone for prayers and well wishes and saying she had stabilized and the pregnancy was okay.
This is the Duggars ninth daughter. Daughter Jordyn-Grace was born December 2008.
On “18 Kids,” Michelle has talked about how she breastfeeds all her children. She and Jim Bob also say they have never taken money from the government. They pay for their brood by owning rental properties and now also from their show and appearances, and they proudly buying secondhand. They built their own house.

OK enough already Michelle. I think she is addicted to being pregnant and having the attention. But she doesn’t seem to do any parenting, especially getting pregnant again with a 2 year old and 8 month old. Even in the interview video, she’s not the one holding the baby, it’s her older daughter. Michelle seems to just spit them out and hand them over to her daughters to take care of. Time to close thy legs Michelle!
With the global population doubled since I was born, our natural resources and habitat Areas being overrun and 1 billion people without access to clean water, I would rather not hear about this women’s colossal selfishness. Why is she being celebrated? Do we really want to live in a world of wall to wall housing and asphalt? Just the very rich will ever see trees or greenery. I feel hostile.
Why is this woman being glorified about having 19 freaking kids, when black women were racially stereo typed about having a lot of kids, and these women would be married and working class citizens, yet they were called lazy, uneducated & poor, while their spouse were called worst.
This B!tch must be a freaking animal, to be able push out that many damn kids, that many times!! Lol! Because its funny as h3ll to me!
What business is it of yours how many children she has? Who are you to judge her? Children are a blessing and she has definitely been blessed! Overpopulation is a myth… we could fit every person in the world in the state of Texas… we aren’t anywhere near the carrying capacity of this planet. Enough of the parenting criticism too… Do those kids look malnourished or mistreated? No, they are all intelligent thoughtful young men and women! Obviously The Duggars are good and moral people, raising their children without public assistance….. you should be holding them up and thanking them for teaching their children morals and responsibility.

Mary, you are even more stupid then the Duggers are.. there are people starving all over the world. Cows, are being raised in boxes, never see the light of day just to be slaughtered, same with pigs and chickens, just to feed people. We have way too many people when you start manufacturing animals to kill at a few months old. Maybe we should eat you mary. The Duggers are deranged and polluting our world and raping it… and we have to share this world, that’s what business it is of mine and everybody elses….. somebody please sterilize these animals.
