Oral Roberts Memorial Service. Today in Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, are conducting a memorial service for the evangelist Oral Roberts who died at 91 in California last week. This presence will be very high for the memorial service today.
Roberts founded Oral Roberts University in 1963 as a pentecostal university. He founded the university after claiming that God had commanded him to, but since its inception the university has expanded to around 40 different Christian denominations. However, it still adheres to its strict moral codes including compulsory attendance at chapel, and a prohibition on swearing, alcohol, drugs, and having sex while enrolled.
