Strangers on a Train Movie, an American film of 1951 by the Studio Warner Bros. A film based on the novel of Patricia Highsmith, who also wrote The Talented Mr. Ripley. Raymond Chandler a Novelist wrote an early draft of the screenplay, despite his having considered the story impulsive. Strangers On a Train is no. 32 on AFI’s 100 years… 100 trills.
Strangers on a Train Movie was produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Starred by Farley Granger, Ruth Roman, Robert Walker, Leo G. Carroll, Kasey Rogers credited as Laura Elliott, and Patricia Hitchcock.
Strangers on a Train Movie was Nominated for Best Black and White Cinematography by the Academy Awards, which was performed by Robert Burks. Alfred Hitchcock nominated for Best director by the Directors Guild of America. Also, film was Nominated Best Picture by National Board of Review.
