Layla Grace Loses With her Cancer. The beautiful 2 year old who captured the attention of the social media-sphere, lost her battle with a rare form of cancer today. Mom bloggers and celebrities rallied to raise support and awareness for the little girl and her family.
Chronicling the young girl’s battle with stage-four neuroblastoma — a cancer that occurs predominantly in children under the age of two, Layla Grace’s parents posted photos and updates on Twitter and Facebook to bring awareness to the disease and support. And, support they did receive — to the tune of over 23,000 followers on Twitter including celebrities like Ryan Seacrest and Guiliana Rancic who sent wishes to the family.
